• I’ve been over several suggested solutions to this and can find nothing so far that works…I want users (unregistered and registered) to be able to post pictures from their phones, etc. directly to the home page. I’ve tried setting up the post via email feature, but it doesn’t seem to work, even with a cronjob installed.

    Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

update: the posts are showing up in the queue, but not getting automatically published. I’ve tried manually installing:

    <iframe src="http://www.yourdomainname.com/wp-mail.php" name="mailiframe" width="0" height="0" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" title=""></iframe>

(with my domain inserted), and I’ve also tried installing the plugin “Email Post Activation” (here) to do the job. What am I missing here?

You can setup an email address, where all your users send messages to, then add this email address as a user on your website. Give this “email user” appropriate powers to publish. I set mine to author.

Then, everything that gets sent to the email address ends up on your site automatically.

However, pictures that are attached to the emails, are not being shown. Not sure why not, but that was te whole point i tried setting this up.

    Anybody help with that?
