    Hey Mike,

Urgently need a fix here. Out of the blue, users are unable to submit job postings. When they hit “Preview”, they are loaded a new page that just says this:

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/topherbeats/public_html/allgamingjobs.eu/wp-content/plugins/wp-job-manager/includes/forms/class-wp-job-manager-form-submit-job.php on line 92

    Hey Mike.

Just want to say, I found this solution right after my original post. However, I had a previous error occur because my theme was not updated — which i was then told to setup some stuff to get auto-update notifications from Jobify as and when they occur. Obviously this is not working, because I got no notification that the theme required updating, even after doing what they asked to get auto-notifications of this.

just letting you know, as I’m sure you’ll keep getting these types of support tickets for your plugin, as long as Astoundify don’t sort out their theme auto-updater issue.

    Thanks,
    Chris

@rajnkb See the sticky thread. If you update to 1.22.x you also need to update resumes, applications, field editor and any special job themes.

@careopoly Not much we can do – you would need to chase them up, or buy your own licence for that theme. No code will work (for be secure) forever, so updates are required.

@mikejolley how much is that licence?

    Hello,

I am building a website for my client and I have run to same problem like previous members. I get this error message when I try to post a job:

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /data/web/virtuals/100731/virtual/www/subdom/fcp/wp-content/plugins/wp-job-manager/includes/forms/class-wp-job-manager-form-submit-job.php on line 92

I have WP Job Manager 1.23.13,
    Resume Manager Version 1.11.3
    Woocommerce paid listing Version 2.3.0.

However, the client does not have a valid licence key, because someone else bought the plugins for her. She is chasing him, but in the meantime, are these version the lastest ones or do I need an update?

    thank you,

    best regards,

    Josif201
