  • Note: if the issue is Theme-specific, you’ll need to consult Elegant Themes for support.

That said: in Dashboard -> Settings -> Discussion, what do you have for the following settings:

    – “Allow people to post comments on new articles “
    – “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”

I think I figured it out…well, the problem that is. Most of the posts/pages were created on another theme. When I create a new post/page comments work. but not on anything I did before. So, I wondering if there’s any way to “fix”the old posts without having to recreate every single one??

    THANK YOU for the feedback!

Go to your Manage Posts screen, click the “select all” checkbox, in order to tick the checkboxes next to each post. Then select “bulk edit” and “apply”. Find the appropriate option (i.e. “allow comments”), and enable it. Then save/apply changes.

You may need to repeat, if you have multiple pages of posts.

Also, if you want to enable comments on static Pages, you’ll have to repeat this process on the Manage Pages page.

One more question (THANK YOU BTW)… it now shows a place to leave a comment above and below the posts?
