Users being told payment failed – when it hasn’t

    Hey team,

    Having issues – yet again – with Eventin. My latest is that payments are going through successfully, but users are being shown a message saying that the payment has been unsuccessful / declined.

    Users then try again, only to realise that two payments have been taken. On investigation it seems that Eventin uses the legacy post tables “Order Data Storage”. That’s fine, but there’s a “high performance” one for a reason…

    So do you know when the plugin is going to be fixed so that shop_order_placehold status isn’t read by Eventin as a failed payment?

    I am really sorry to hear about this frustrating experience, and I completely understand.

    We are currently checking this behavior and looking into the compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) and how the shop_order_placehold status is being handled on order validation.
