• Users are not receiving email confirmation. I am receiving them as the Admin, and if I send them to a “User” as a test using my Admin email address they work. If I send them to any other User email address as a test (I have several), I do not get the emails.

I have checked and unchecked the send to user option in the settings and re-saved numerous times. It makes no difference.

I have purchased the extensions and set up a trial with Twilio. I do receive text Pending Appointment, Confirmation and Cancellation notices for User and myself, but do not receive them for Users by email. I would like to have both options work. Is it one or the other? If the other then, I would opt to use email versus text only.

Also, is there any way to reorder a services in the drop down the client sees when booking? I created bulk connections because I have a lot of service options, and a couple are out of order. Can I re-order them without deleting and setting them up from scratch?

    Here are some enhancement suggestions:
Email: Include a reminder option that can be sent to send automatically one week and 24 hours prior to the appointment. If this already exists I cannot see how to do it, nor did I find instructions in the documentation or videos I reviewed.

Same for Twilio: Only 1 option to send a reminder, should have more than one option, e.g., 1 week, 24 hours, etc. Again, if this already exists I cannot see how to do it, nor did I find instructions in the documentation or videos I reviewed.

Add the ability to add buffers slots: I need time to reset my space or travel between appointments. By default I added time to each appointment/service option to accommodate buffers, and will add block of travel time for travel appointments. It would be nice to be able to have the option to set buffers more easily.

    Thanks

  • Hi @cwildes, regarding conformation email? How you trigger conformation? By Clicking on link inside admin email, or by changing it inside Appointments page in admin section?

Thanks for suggestion for email notifications it is part of feature list and also that buffer thing. For that one plan is to have page where you can simply turn off some days without need to altering connections because now it is to painful to manage all connection if there are lot of them.

    Best regards,

This did not really address my issue: Below is what is happening when I try to send myself a test appointment from another email account (mine), not the one used as my admin email account for the plug in.

In settings I have text in the Pending email option, and I have the box checked to “Send email to User”, which I assumed by checking this:” Mark this option if you want User to receive email after filing the form” means they will get a copy of the Pending email notice.

    1) I submit an appointment using a different (fake) name. I get an email of the Pending appointment as the Admin, but not as the User (in test email account). Plus I get a text from the Twilio extension confirming the Pending appointment.

    2) As the Admin I actually get two copies of the Pending appointment email one standard example, and a second with the iCal option. (I would be nice to only get one if you have purchased this extension).

    3) If, as the Admin, I select Confirm as you’ve instructed, I get the following notice “Appointment can’t be confirmed!” This happens both with the standard email notice and the ICal email notice, but I do get a Twilio confirmation text.

    4) So, my User is not getting any emails, but they are getting Twilio notifications via text.

Is this an either or if the Twilio extension is activated? As mentioned, I would choose email over text if that is the case and will disable Twilio. Please confirm.

The following question in my initial post was not addressed.

“Also, is there any way to reorder a services in the drop down the client sees when booking? I created bulk connections because I have a lot of service options, and a couple are out of order. Can I re-order them without deleting and setting them up from scratch?”

Hi @cwildes, Extension should not interfere with email function for the customers. Can you please tell me do you have custom field called email? That can be an issue because EA can’t resolve email address from the user data.

If you are marked option to get the copy of email as admin you will get both customer and admin email each time.

Regarding ordering there is no such option ATM but it will be added there were lot of requests for that.

    Best regards,
    Nikola
