    Hello Jack,

Your plugin is very useful and comes close to what I need to do. An additional shortcode would get me there. I need to acknowledge new registrants to my website after they provide the minimum information to create an account: username, email address, and password. Your plugin provides shortcodes for email address and password reset, but does not provide a shortcode for the username, rather, you provide shortcodes for first_name and last_name / family_name. Unfortunately, I don’t have this information at the time I need to send my acknowledgement. Please provide a shortcode for [username] or [login_id], that would do the job very nicely. Thanks.

    Hi @dvhirst865,
    Thanks for your message.

I’ll see what I can do to add this functionality in as a global shortcode.

    Thanks,
    Jack

Thanks, I’m eager to see the update. Glad to see this marked resolved!

I would love to see this update as well. Actually I’m quite surprised this shortcode isn’t already available..

I tried many different combinations to show the username and was also very frustrated but found that this shortcode worked for me [user_login]

    Thanks Gavin

Thanks, Gavin; it works for me also, and is good enough for now. I’d prefer to see a consistent use of shortcode IDs or consistent documentation; so, will wait for the next release to review and possibly mark this as closed from my viewpoint.

    Don
