Hi Achim,
when using WordPress multisite the default way, there is no active synchronization of users (and their meta data) necessary. The reason for this is simple: all users are stored in a single network-wide table.
Does this answer your question?
Kind regards,

Yes, thank you.
In my first test now, there are different users per site.
Seems I have done something “wrong”…
Going to check that…
Kind regards, beste Grüße ins Bergische Land 🙂

…so will each user have ONE network-wide Buddypress-Homepage?
Or will (which) user-entries be network-wide?
THANKS AGAIN, Grüßle
Hi Achim,
a user is registered (i.e., stored) only once for the whole network, so in a network-wide table. You can (and have to) decide which sites you want the user to be added to, though.
I’m no BuddyPress expert, but there is a Codex entry regarding multisite.
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
Thorsten
