User Specific Categories

Hi,

I’m creating a new literary blog with several users. I want each person to use categories as story titles in so I can organize posts effectively.

I’ve done some searching and all I can find are questions about restricting categories. That’s not exactly what I want.

I want users to be able to create categories as needed. But I don’t want everybody to see every category created. I only want them to see the categories they create plus some “General” categories I create.

Further, I want duplicate categories created by different users to remain unlinked to each other. It seems like category slugs take care of that, I just don’t want to lose that feature in the fix.
