User Role Titles Disappear

    When I go to Ultimate Member >> User Roles and then edit one of the roles (in this case “editor”) to make the admin available to them (Not sure why UM removes that access)… I’m able to make the change and save. But then the title “Editor” disappears from the role. It literally shows up as a blank string in the User Roles list and in the drop down when editing a profile to assign a role to a member.

    Hi @mywebmaestro,

    Do you have any other membership or user role editor plugin installed?
    This issue can be due to some conflicts with your theme or other plugins.
    Please do a quick conflict test and see if this issue goes away.
    Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

    I deactivated all other plugins except for Ultimate Member, and was then unable to even reset the editor user role to test it. (Once it’s blank, you have to reset it for the title to come back.) So, I recovered the account from a backup I made just prior, and reset it first, then deactivated all the other plugins. With ONLY the Ultimate Member plugin active, it did the exact same thing.

    I have the same issue. I cannot see user role titles and i cannot specify the role for registration of new users using form i created via UM. It did work for couple of days and now i see that it does not… is there any way to fix this?
    I have no other membership plugin installed so there should be no confilcts….right?
    Please help
