User Role Editor plugin not working properly 2017

    User Role Editor plugin is not working properly. I cloned a role(sub-admin) for my clients.Then when I signed on as the client I could see the admin bar but when I clicked on the admin bar it only refreshed the page and they could not do anything.No menu bar on the left.
    I basically want my clients to be able to do everything except mess with plugins and themes. Also only be able to work with certain plugins. For example: woocommerce(add products but not mess with or see woocommerce settings. Or customize the theme only.

    Do your test user can not access WordPress admin back-end (wp-admin)?
    WooCommerce redirects all logged-in users to front-end, if that user does not meet some conditions.
    Try to add ‘view_admin_dashboard’ capability to your role. More information is available here.

    Let me share one thought: if you can not achieve something with a help of a plugin, may be you did something wrong, so it’s better to not use so critical topic for your support request: “plugin not working properly”? Why do not write something more related to a problem, like this: “user can not access wp-admin”?
