To tell you honestly, I don’t think I’ve seen a hack for something like that. It’s an interesting idea although.
When I ran a weblogging site, I would just create a new directory or sub-domain for that person. Then they would have their own blog. I wouldn’t think that there would be a way to do it via a script or hack for WP. I would want to do it manually, just because I’m that way. 😉

I would want to do it that way so I dont have to do it manually for each person on my site that signs up, it would be kinda like a blogging community.
From someone that did it for 2 years, even if I did have something that would add them for me, I wouldn’t want it to put them on my domain, using my bandwidth, without knowing them and trusting them. You are opening yourself up to a lot of stuff once you find an automation script that will work. Good luck.
You might want to look into b2++.

Will do allusion, thanks!
I have multiple blogs and only one will permit a user to register and blog on it. 🙂 I have it set so I have to approve them before they can blog. I don’t even have register.php on any blogs except for that one.
Wondering if anyone else had tried b2++ as user registration so that users can have their own blog is what I’m after. With WordPress, in admin, can you set up mulitple blogs and set users so they can only post in 1 blog?
