User registration problem with wpdirauth

Hi there ,

I have recently been asked to take over an internal Local Government WordPress installation that was set up using Multi Site and gets users through the directory using wpdirauth through LDAP

This is fine and I understand what is going on but the problem I am having is my boss wants me to have a comments section where people can sign up to comment but wants them only to be able to sign up with their employee username and email so we can monitor who exactly is commenting as at the moment you can put in any email address and they will be registered in wordpress so has the potential to be abused

Is there away to do this so that we can only restrict sign ins to people who are in the Ldap user list?
