User Registration Automated Email

    Hi

    When approving users on the User Registration page is there an option I’m missing somewhere to stop an automated email being sent? I’ve managed to comment out lines 383 to 389 in /admin/wp-security-list-registered-users.php however this is not ideal as each update breaks this fix.

    Hi, the notification e-mail from WordPress to Users who are registering to your site is an automated process. This plugin does not control WordPress Email notifications.

    You might like to try the following plugin Manage Notification E-mails might help you.

    Hi, It is absolutely the plugin that does this. We have the system set so that new registrations have to be manually approved via the User Registration page in AIOWPS. When a user is approved an email is sent to the user. If you take a look at lines 383 to 389 in /admin/wp-security-list-registered-users.php you’ll see the code that does it. I’m trying to find a way to permanently disable this feature. Commenting out the code works until an update comes around..
