User registration and private content (profile)

I am a newbie with wordpress so I would like to know what is the BEST way to let user login from a page in my website and let them have access to only one private section for each of them.

e.g:

User01 would get an account made by me (admin) and he could login from a section of my site. When he logs in, he gets acces to his private section which only he can see. There is no “common” private site for registered users. Just an individual site for each of them where I could upload content so only one specific user can see it.

I heard of many plug ins and many ways but it seems confusing… What would be the BEST way to do this in your opinion?
