User Permissions Within Plugin

Hello,
I’m trying to set up photo galleries for each department within our organization and I’d like to be able to just give them the ability to manage their own galleries. As far as I’ve found, users with the administrator role are the only ones capable of accessing this plugin. I can’t just give everyone admin level permissions, so is there any option for me to give editors or authors access to editing galleries?
