    One possible approach:

    • Add the required fields to the WP Profiles with the Cimy User Extra Fields plugin.
    • Register the users as Subscribers so they have rights to edit their own profile.
    • Create a template to display the profile selected by the login name of the current viewer or a login message if not logged in.
    • Add a link to the template so the user can link to their profile page to update it.
