User needs to login twice

Hi,

I did find a posting under this title but the issue was closed as the person who open the issue decided not to use the plugin.

My case I want and need to use this plugin and I am experiencing the same issue:

1) Go to login page
2) Enter login credentials (User/Pwd)
3) Plugin clears the password field
4) I re-enter the password
5) Access is granted.

If immediately after access I just logout and try to login again the same scenario is presented: I will be granted access on second attempt.

If I deactivate the plugin the issue is gone. If I reactivate the plugin the issue is back.

I am running Version 2 of your plugin with WordPress 4.9.5 under WampServer Version 3.0.6 64bit on my local PC. I installed this wordpress site just to test the plugin so only other plugins installed are BackWPup and WP MAIL SMTP.
