User Name incorrect

    My site is connected with a book approval network, but the username associated with the Email address is incorrect. This is embarrassing as the user name appears alongside book reviews and posts. As the user name cannot be changed and I can’t use another user name with the organisation’s email address, what happens if I delete the user with the wrong name. Can I then create a new user with the same email address?

    There must be a workaround for this.

    Yes, but you don’t need to. Edit the user. Make sure there’s a first name or last name, and select what to use as from Display Publicly As…. It doesn’t have to show the userID.
