The iframe solution doesn’t resonate with me.
Unless I misunderstand, that is how Moot works, it’s not up to (me) the plugin author. See the Moot docs on how this works.

Ah, that. I don’t see me doing much or any work on this plugin moving forward. I’ve decided to wind down my WordPress plugin development activities and focus elsewhere.
If someone else wants to take over the plugin I’ll happily let them.
Moot can also be easily integrated, manually.

Yes, this plugin is not needed for anyone who is even reasonably good with editing PHP/HTML templates, it’s for the totally non-technical person.
I wrote it to see how quickly I could, but after publishing I wish I hadn’t (so I didn’t feel guilty for not adding new features to it.)
There is a new version of the plugin which is not backwards compatible. This version is fully maintained and there will be fixes and new features.
