    Hi,

Look very nice your plugin. Testing it.

Few question as our products are not that standard we like to show more info (about how it is made etc etc) Now on the normal wc product page is the add to cart but the feature of add-ons is not showing there.

Are there any options to go from the WC product page to the [foodstore]
page ? Or have the button bar always available on each page ? Maybe with a shortcode in elementor footer template ?

I think then the people also can order from the WC product page.

    Cheers and thanks

    Hello @itism64

Thank you for trying out the plugin. I’ll try to clarify you points as much as possible.

    – [foodstore] page is created to avoid default woocommerce shop pages and sell your items in a nice restaurant menu format. So, there is no link between food store and Woocommerce single product page.

    – Add-ons from the food store plugin works exclusively for [foodstore] page. As this plugin is not used for global usability enhancement, these add-ons can not be used in Product page.

    – Regarding showing more info, putting in the content area will show the info in Popup when you click add to cart. If that is not what you wanted please give us any reference or screenshot showing the info you were saying about, we might find a solution for that.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi @wpscripts

Totally understand to sell the products in menu format. Very clean and easy but

    – If you know what to order (as you been there before) it is perfect.
    – Most SEO traffic will land on the product pages or category pages.
    – The possibility now is only the title and the image on the menu format popup.
    – Moment the user click other menu to check something item he lost the nice button bar with his order information.

I think to avoid that it would be great to be able to send the client, if he is on product page add to chart it jumps to the foodstore page so the client can order.
Or all the product info is available in the popup page with a link to check the details.
In other words if you have few hundred products and add ons if a client check there it always take him to the foodpage if he wants to order.

By law for example you must inform the clients what ingredients you use and that can be all on the WC product page.

I build it now with a button on the WC product pages Order now and it goes to the foodpage so is already better but for the whole experience it would be nice to have a look at that. Specially the “order info bar at the bottom” always available on each page (or with shortcode) we will not loose the clients

    Thanks

    Hi @wpscripts

Here you have a example https://www.spareribexpress.com/ as you can see when order there is more info in the pop then only the title. The side dish are also separate with images and text. With mouseover you get the description of the product

So in combi with your foodstore page and the way they show it here is the perfect combo. Clients who know what to order can use the foodstore page and clients who like to discover your products or are new get more info about the products.

So is only about user experience specially if the “order bar” at the bottom will be there the time a clients is navigating would be fantastic.

    Cheers

    Hello,

I understand that various people wants the usability in various way. But we can only provide a way that satisfied the most of the user. We’ll see how we can add the product and addon information more prominently in the popup.

Regarding the order bar, No it can’t be enabled on all the pages, as it’s a part of the Shortcode.

    Thanks & Regards,
