User authentication hook?

    I have the newest version of WordPress integrated with osCommerce for some article management. Since osCommerce has it’s own authentication/users i was wondering if there were any hooks or ways i could authenticate my osCommerce users on the WordPress side of things when they login with osCommerce?

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
