Hello,

After the signup the users are automatically redirected to profile page. While the setting in wp-admin are opposite(refresh current page, admin approval). I want to refresh current page and also set status to pending review.

Could you please tell me what could be the issue?

What is your setting at:
UM Settings -> General -> Users -> “Registration Default Role”?

Have you set the “Registration Default Role” to “Require Admin Review” at:
UM User Roles -> Edit “Registration Default Role ” -> “Registration options”?

Just signup and this user is approved by default

Try to do a Theme/Plugin conflict test if your Theme
or another Plugin is causing a conflict with UM.
