Hi,
As of WordPress version 6.5, passwords are stored as URLs rather than in a traditional format.
For security reason, WordPress does not allow to display under the traditional format. We regret to inform you that this feature cannot be modified.
Best regards.

Hi,
When you say security reason, WordPress 6.5.X does not allow to display under the traditional format
Do you mean all emails or just the admin emails?
Right now:
1, When the customer receives the email the passwords is showing as a traditional format, Not an URL address.
2, But when the same email is sent to a new Admin is shows a URL address and doesn’t show the traditional format.
is this how it should work..
Hi,
We tested again both customer and admin user roles and found that they received their passwords via email as URL links.
Best regards.

HI,
Sorry for my confusion, as I’ve been testing again myself after your message.
Yes you are correct, emails sent from the wordpress admin side “Add new user” emails sent to all different “Roles” do send the password by URL links.
My confusion was, that if a customer signs up from the front end, it seems to use the same email template and the password is viewable in the traditional format.
if i was to remove the “Your password is: {user_password}”
off the template and replace it with a button” Reset you password if needed: {reset_password_url}”
Would this work for both admin emails and the front end emails and take them to correct URL
Personally the long URLs don’t look nice in the emails, and the customers password totally viewable in the traditional format isn’t good for password security.

Hi,
The {user_password} and {reset_password_url} through the button will return the same by URL links.
For your additional reply,
the email layout is still Woocommerces templte, and i cant seem to edit this template email,
