    What I’m using is
    MP4 in the media library
    Do not use code
    It doesn’t work
The code is written in this way
    Is that right?

How should I write the right thing?

    <div><a href="http://www.xxxxxx.com/video/Audi.mp4" rel="wp-video-lightbox"><i class="fa fa-folder-open"></i>More Details</a></div>
    </div>

To embed lightbox for the files on my own server (in media library) I had tried to embed a .mov movie using anchor tag embed technique. It worked fine for .mov file. However I can’t make it work for .mp4. once the lightbox opens up, a pop up says “Image cannot be located, make sure your path is correct.” I am sure my path is correct to the video file and even I can see the video in the media library playing.

What can be the issue, any insight to this please?

    Thanks a lot

Hi, unfortunately at present the plugin does not support mp4 files.

    Kind regards

    I’m sorry mbrsolutions,
    your plugin does support mp4!
Or is that only with the ultimate version?

This is just an ideal option, now I can use my self-hosted movie and I am no longer dependent on YouTube and friends

I have created a subdomain for this and can now upload my films via ftp.

Hi, WP Lightbox does support MP4 files, only WP Video Lightbox does as you stated above. That shorcode you shared does not belong to this plugin.

If you need any more help with this plugin, let us know.

    Thank you.

    Hi Solution!

It is remarkable that you say that the short code does not belong to the plug-in. I do not have another plug-in and your lightbox works fine.

Sorry, my website is not yet open to the public and still under construction. I would like to give you access to this so that you can see what I did.

If you are interested, please give me an e-mail address or other contact option.

    Greeting

PS: I’m using the WP Lightbox Ultimate

Hi @rovanov, sorry but I typed the wrong reply above. In the following comment.

WP Lightbox does support MP4 files

What I meant to type was

WP Video Lightbox does not support MP4 files

Now as you mentioned above WordPress Lightbox Ultimate does support MP4 files. However any questions related to this plugin WordPress Lightbox Ultimate must be asked here.

This forum here is only for the free plugin WP Video Lightbox.

    Kind regards
