    Hi guys,

Could you change the external language file path to wp-content/languages/plugins instead of wp-content/plugins/wp-mailinglist-languages?

This is the default folder for all external plugin language files (for example woocommerce uses this path) and translation plugins like Loco Translate automatically save translations to here.

This change will make Tribulant translations compatible with Loco Translate and other similar plugins.

Thank you for this suggestion, we appreciate it.

We will add the default WordPress language files structure as an option to the Newsletter plugin to make this possible from a next release.

We’ve now added the option to use this languages folder structure.
We will include this in our upcoming update.

So there are 3 options available:

    1. Inside the plugin’s own /languages/ folder
    2. Inside wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder of WordPress
    3. Inside the custom wp-content/plugins/wp-mailinglist-languages (for backward compatibility)
