URL won’t save characters like [ ] & =

Hi

Today I wanted to change the URL of a thank you page to which the customer will be sent to after purchasing. Now I need to manually add some GET parameters to the URL. Meaning:

My thank you page now looks more or less like the following

mydomain.com/thank-you-page

Now I want to add to that the following
?reference=[ORDER_ID]&email=[BUYER_EMAIL]&sum=[AMOUNT]&vat=[VAT_AMOUNT]

I have tried to do this in the editor and in quick edit, but upon hitting save, the link always looks like this:

mydomain.com/thank-you-pagereferenceorder_idemailbuyer_emailsumamountvatvat_amount

Does anybody have an idea what the issue might be?

I thought maybe the Opera browser, but the same happens on Chrome.
