I have seen this topic here before but the solution was not put out publicly.
My FB shop is showing the product prices without VAT, but should show WITH VAT. The problem is more complex – it does not overwrite the price for all products, it makes the change on some, and on some it does not. More – when I fill in the Facebook Price field with the correct price, even in this case it overwrites the price in some occasions to the price without VAT. If I go to the product in Woo, that has the FB price field filled and just click Update – it changes the price to the correct one in FB shop. When it does the automatic sync, it changes the prices back to the wrong ones.
Facebook support does not help. Maybe it is not their problem, but … I have deinstalled the whole plugin, started all over, same problems occur.
Please help. Really. Same problem every couple of days. Kills my business 🙁

Could you please share the following info?

(I recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in your reply)

1 – A screenshot of your tax setting: WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Tax

2 – A screenshot of your product tax setting

3 – Also could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it on Gist.github.com and then share the URL here.

    We’ll progress from there.

    Look forward to your reply.

    Hi,
am I really going to post everything you need in public???

    Kris

Hi @krisleinatamm79. Your tax settings shouldn’t contain any sensitive information, as this is just the tax rates for your store/product.

As for the system status report, the only potentially sensitive information here is your site URL. Everything else should be pretty basic info. If you’d like, though, you can contact our support team directly by going to https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/. If you decide to do that, please mention this thread so that we can resolve it.

    Hi @krisleinatamm79,

Thanks for sharing all the requested information.

I didn’t see anything suspicious with the log.

To ensure that on Facebook catalog, your product are shown with tax, you will need to display your products on your WooCommerce store also with tax.

To do so please complete the following steps:

Step 1) Navigate to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Tax, and then adjust Display prices in the shop to Including tax:

Step 2) And then please clear your WooCommerce transient data here: WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > WooCommerce transients > Click – Clear Transients (Button on right).

Step 3) Lastly, please do a full sync again of your WooCommerce products to Facebook catalog by going to to WP Admin > Marketing > Facebook > Product sync, click Sync products.

    FYI: Result of my test:

Product Setting, it’s $10, and tax is 10%:

Shown on Facebook catalog as $11:

    I hope that helps!

Let me know how it goes!

    Hello,

if you take a look at the screenshots I provided, you’ll see that the prices in the shop are with tax. Both of the fields you’ve highlighted are correctly marked as Including the tax. But still the prices are shown occasionally and with some exceptions without the tax.
Today I deactivated all the items in FB shop as all prices are again changed to without the tax. Even though I have specially filled in Facebook Price field.
Please look into this matter once again. All my settings are correct but sync does not work properly.

    Kris

    Hi @krisleinatamm79,

Thanks so much for sending over those screenshots! After reviewing those settings, we can’t see any reason why this would be happening on your site. We’re also still not able to replicate this issue on any of our test sites.

We’d like to take a closer look at your site itself to see if we’re able to determine what’s causing this issue. Could you please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

We will be able to help you further there.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, I believe that you might have created a ticket directly on WooCommerce.com, else, please do so.

So I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
