• Hi, I was inserting a code (it’s ‘<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[Total_Soft_Poll id=”2″]’);?>’) provided by a plugin called Total Soft WordPress Plugins into the posts.php of my website’s editor.

Thereafter I was no longer able to log in or view the wordpress.

The wordpress is http://theyoungprofessionalgroup.com. Please help! Thank you.

Have you tried removing that code:

If you don’t have access to your Dashboard’s Appearance page, access your server via FTP/ SFTP , or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to to the template or file you placed that code in and remove it.

Alternately, if you made a backup of the file before you edited it, restore it.

You can also access your server via a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these)

i have trouble contacting my hosting provider at this hour, but i will wait.

if my issue is simply a case of a plugin code messing up the page, do you think it can be rectified without a loss of data?
