Hi Ed. I’m not seeing anything suspicious on the image you provided and I checked your website as well. All looks good.
WordPress has some good documentation regarding possible hacks. Please review the following page…

Good luck!

there is a large ad on the right side of my site? This all started after I added the super-cache plugin.
Where is that coming from?
The adrotate plugin is my guess. You did not add it?

what do you mean I did not add it? Thanks
Ed, I do not see any right banner ads when I visit your website.
Perhaps you could troubleshoot a bit by uninstalling the Super Cache plugin and see if the banner is still being displayed for you.

I’ll keep digging around as well and see if I can find anybody else with the same issue.

the super cache plugin was added to another one of my sites…all my sites have this weird code added in some of my files after I added super cache. It like spread through all my databases. Yes, I did delete super cache from my other site. Sometime if you try different browsers that spam will show up…doesn’t do it all the time…
@ed, click the link I gave and look at line 93 – it is what I posted above it. Not sure what a caching plugin has to do with it. Change all your passwords now if you did not add it.

Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

thanks for the help. This code is even in the default WP Themes…It had landed in all of my themes…looks like it’s in the Header.php and functions.php only…that I can find…plus in other databases in my hosting account….my host said they did not see anything wrong.

@pioneer Valley Web Design Member – I’m using the plugin for the banners in my header just above the main menu…using the plugin for the banners.

@esmi Thanks….It seems like the ad/spam only pops up once or twice a day…it’s not consistent so It’s hard to test.
