Uptime notification ideas?

    I am wondering if there is any way to be notified in the event email starts to fail.

    Every few months something knocks loose in the gmail integration and I need to Grant Permission again. However there is no way of being notified of this issue. An email alert obviously wouldn’t work because email is down.

    I am picturing creating a custom function and triggering it in a cron event which will email some dedicated email address once an hour, and if that account ever DOESN’T receive the mail, then I would be notified. But I’m not aware of a mailbox with this kind of functionality.

    Maybe this has come up before and solutions have been proposed? Thanks for any ideas.

    5. Report and Tracking Addon: You can get in-depth reports and statistics about the email performance of your website from the Report and Tracking Pro Extension. You can track who has viewed your emails and filter email statistics by day, week, and month. Additionally, you can see the open rate of your emails. To ensure you know your email performance, the addon sends you daily, weekly, or monthly email reports directly to your inbox.

    Apparently, I had the old version of the plugin installed. I had to find the new one in the plugin repo. Found these options – perfect, thank you.
