Uploads Folder does not show images!!

    Hi All,

    Last week I updated my WordPress to ver3.9.2
    Upon updating all my blog posts images and thumbnail pictures disappeard leaving a corrupt image
    You can see what I mean here

    Upon checking my uploads folder I find that there are a couple of sub folders arranged by date but with no images in them (checked via FTP and File Station)

    Troubleshooting
    So I had a look at online forums for any help
    Also checked a recent backup copy I had of my WordPress however that does not have the images as well
    Changed the theme from Hueman to Twenty Fourteen
    Disabled all plugins
    Cleared my browser cache and tried a different browser

    Any help is appreciated
