    Hello,

The nice folks over at install4free have gotten me up and running. In testing out the new blog, when I try to upload a picture, I get the following error mesage:

Unable to create directory /hsphere/local/home/rhein/therelay.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2006/08. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Can anyone point me in the right direction to resolve this?

    Thanks,

    Jon

PS – I created the directories manually using the FTP client, and now when I try to upload a picture, it gives the message “The uploaded file could not be moved to .”

EDITED* I’m not sure how your host handles that, but, you *might* need them Chmod 777.. I’ll try that then too.. =)

Hey Jon! I’ve Chmodded all your folders 755 and the files 644.. so, if you want me too, I can try it again..and then maybe something else, if need be.. 😉 =)

EDITED* [Slaps self], I *only* chmodded the wp-content and uploads directory 777, not the folders within the uploads directory.. so, now..I did the other folders within the uploads folder to 777 and he says it’s working! YAY! =P

Also, just kept his plugins and themes folders to 755. 😉
