Uploading javascript files

  • When I load the files (i.e. image.gif, index.html and myscript.pde) I receive a message that for “security” reasons, my *.pde or even my font files (*.vlw) can’t be uploaded.
I use the media upload screen to insert these files into my page.
Perhaps I do it the wrong way ??
    Thanks for help.

Why are you trying to upload font files?

Well, because it is included in the prog directory. Just like the pics and the .pde program.
I intend to transfer it via a javascript that would give me an executable .js file.

Sorry? From what I understand you’re trying to use the Media Library in a way that it was never intended to be used.

You are right. I bought this morning via Packt Publishing the “WP 3 Complete”.
I should have started with that 🙁
    Thank you for answering.
