• hello.

Im trying to upload images using the media tab in the wp dashboard.

Upon selecting a image (doesn’t matter if i try flash or browser) I select upload and there are no errors. However upon completion all the file information is correct even the path is shown at the bottom correctly but where the image should be it is just white. And upon further investigation it never made the new “uploads” folder in wp-content.

    Any help would be great.

    i now receive the error:

The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/vhosts/owenhope.ca/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads.

I have changed the permissions on content and uploads to 777, and i have also unchecked the setting in settings->misc that has to do with the date and time…

    very frustrating.

did you ever find out how to fix this? i have the same problem. I’ve tried changing it to 777.

    dannymachines,

Check Setting > Miscellaneous Settings and verify that “Store Uploads in this Folder” is set to “wp-content/uploads” let me know if the monthly archives checkbox is ticked.
