Uploading image in blog

    I am trying to upload an image in my blog. I changed the permissions from numeric “644” to “777” on my FTP remote site. I used Media>add new. Using the flash uploader, I choose the file on my C: It tried to load but cam back with the following error “Unable to create directory /wp-content/uploads/2009/10. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”. Not sure what to do to fix this. Thanks

    New info. I went back and made sure all permissions say “777”. Then I tried to upload. Media>add new. using Brower uploader (vs flash). Now my error message just says “Error saving media attachment”. Help

    Hi,

    Assign 766 recursive permissions to wp-content folder. If you do not have an access of SSH then you can contact your hosting service provider to grant this permissions.
