Uploaded files all gone!

    Hi, since last night all the files and pages (but not posts) I uploaded seem to have disappeared when I open my wordpress account. The links are broken when I access my website.

    However, I didn’t delete the files and pages, and they’re not even deleted on the server. I logged into my server and found all files intact. So I think it’s a content issue with WordPress.

    HELP!

    Hi. It’s hard to guess what happened without a link to your site — could you post a link?

    Agreed. We need to see what is occuring to help.

    Although also checking to see if the files exist within the wp-content/uploads/ subdirectory as well as checking your webserver’s error logs would be a plus.

    My website is http://www.sanhati.com

    The problems are:

    1. The uploads category under Manage—>Uploads is completely empty, although all uploaded files are in fact existent and accessible from the website links (no broken links).

    2. Posts marked to appear specifically in sections other than the front page are appearing on the front page by default.
