Upload section not appearing for YouTube for WordPress

    When I successfully activate and connect my Youtube account via the wordpress plugin, I am presented with a blank ‘Upload’ section. No buttons appear. Also, when on a WordPress Page, the “Add Media” and “YouTube for WP” buttons stop working.

    This seems to be an issue experienced by a few other users also.

    Any solutions?

    WordPress is 4.2.1
    All other plugins are updated
    No js errors in console

    This sounds like you haven’t successfully authenticated your YouTube account. Do you have an active youtube account? Have you followed the setup video?

    I have setup the plugin on 20+ sites without issue. Generally these errors occur due to a user error somewhere along the line. I’ve done my best to provide error checks throughout, but some may get by.

    IF your add media button stops working this may be a tinyMCE conflict somehwere with another plugin or with your theme.

    The upload page shouldn’t be blank, you should at least be seeing some sort of error returned from the YouTube API which leads me to believe you aren’t connected properly.

    Do you see the language settings on the YouTube settings page? If not, then the site isn’t communicating with YouTube properly.
