Hi, we currently send out invoices for orders taken over the phone by email. We’re just starting to use woocommerce as well.
Is it possible to upload pdf files to our server so that customers (registered users) can see them via our woocommerce site, but other users can’t.

Thanks for any help with this.

  • You would need to do the order via the admin and tie it to their account to do this (at least the easiest way using WooCommerce). Other wise you need to create some type of custom setup for this where you can select who has access to it and what PDFs are in it.

We don’t currently have an extension that could help out with that exact workflow, but I do recommend our Print Invoices & Packing Lists extension which will allow the customer to download the invoices on their registered My Account page and WooCommerce automatically sends them out for you – but you would need to set up the order (or account) for them on WooCommerce if over the phone.
