    hello,

i’ve got a problem with your plugin when an author want to upload a media in its event from front end.

the plugin let me select my file on my computer and try to upload. when finished it give me an error and the file was not uploaded.

All works fine when i do same things as an administrator, on front end and backend

i’ve tried to change the rights on media folder and set it to 755 but same error.

In the same site, from front end and with same author i can write a post and upload media without problem.

I’ve also test uploading media in an other site with other themes and plugins, error is same with author.

have you got an idea so that i can resolve this matter. It ‘s the only reason because i can’t put online my new version website with your very beautiful and usefull plugin.

    thanks.

    Mickaël

sorry we are not getting this issue and this roles “edit others page” and “edit private page” are not EM default capability or role chances are it’s a wp roles issue? maybe you can try to deactivate all plugins except EM and then create a new user for testing ?

Hi, I’m also getting this error when attempting to add media from a frontend editor. At first I thought it was some conflict with the plugin “View own posts and media library items only” or “Frontier Post” but I disabled those and am still getting the error. I do not get the error if I click Add Media from the backend, it’s only from the Frontend. The error does not occur if the user is Admin, only with Author (this is an internal site, so I’m only using Admin, Editor and Publisher).

I ran a trace in Safari and it seems to be thrown somewhere in plupload.full.min.js or jquery.js. But some of that code is a bit beyond me so I’m not sure what I’m looking at.

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Same thing. All works fine, but in the frontend “Add Post” form comes this error. Admin & Editor can upload files. Nobody else can.
