upload / insert image media buttons not working properly

    hi i hope someone out there can help me.
    the upload/insert button in pages and posts is not working popping up the media/image window.
    i can right click on the icons and open the link in another window… but the pop up i not working.
    does anybody have a solution for this.
    using wordpress 3.1
