Good to hear from you again, and thanks for your report.
You wrote “the images are crunched to reduce the size“. Can you tell me which plugin you are using to compress the images. The success of mapping rules depends on the steps followed by that plugin and the WordPress functions it invokes.
You wrote “no thumbnailes“. I am not sure what this means. Thumbnail and intermediate size generation is done by WordPress and MLA does not play any role in this part of the process. Can you give me more details on this part of your report?
If I can use the same plugin(s) you are using I can investigate further. Any additional details you can provide will be helpful. Thanks!
Hello David

That’s the problem. The plugin Real Thumbnail Generator makes the problem.
I have deactivated the plugin and it works again.
Thank you for your tip.
Cheers

Thanks for your update with the good news regarding the cause of the problem.
I am marking this topic resolved, but if you need to find a way to make the Real Thumbnail Generator plugin work with MLA post an update and I will investigate further. Thanks for your work to find and fix the problem.
