Upload file explanation needed

You’ll need to read the thread on the issue I was having before this post will make sense. (It’s only 3 short posts)

So I changed “miscellaneous” to read… the_tracy_times/wp-content/uploads/ That cleared up my problem, but it created a “the_tracy_times” folder along side of the “wp-admin”, “wp-content”, and “wp-includes” folders in my structure instead of placing them in my “the_tracy_times/wp-content/uploads/” folder.

I’ve tried using…
../wp-content/uploads/
../the_tracy_times/wp-content/uploads/
/the_tracy_times/wp-content/uploads/
Nothing seems to put them in their default folder. What am I missing?
