upgrading to 2.7.1 (another!)

    Any thoughts please on the meaning of this message when I click on the automatic upgrade button

    Internal Server Error, this is an error with your script, check your error log for more information.

    I’ve not even launched this blog yet, just moved to it from another well known blogging tool. Should I perhaps just leave the upgrade until the next version?.. need to make a move quickly

    check your error log for more information.

    have you done that?

    not doing upgrades isnt a solution to anything — you CAN always manually upgrade any working install.

    Thanks for your early response. I now know that I should have an error log but what/where is it please???? 🙂

    I’m also having 271 upgrade probs & the support people who host my site (& installed wp for me) cannot understand why the ‘auto’ process won’t accept our connection info.
    We have tried every conceivable hostname,username and pwd.
    Any thoughts?
