  • That probably means you did NOT get a good upload of the WordPress 2.3.2 file set. Please consider deleting and reuploading your WordPress files as described in Steps 7 and 8 of Upgrading WordPress Extended.

    Also note, that in upgrading 2.3.1 to 2.3.2 there are no database changes, so the upgrade.php process is not necessary, but if run, it will say the database is already up to date.

    Forgot one !important detail…

    Delete the files on your local machine as well as the files on your remote server, THEN download the updated files to your local machine.

    Otherwise you just overwrite your local files which leaves the changed files that are then re-uploaded.

    I know that might seem like everyday common knowledge to full time programmers but, the average user might overlook this little detail.
