Upgrade issue 1.5 -> 1.5.2

    When upgrading from a working installation of WP 1.5 to 1.5.2 I get no errors with upgrade.php but the main page comes out blank. (<html><body></body></html> in the index)I’ve not been able to see any errors.

    I’ve also tried starting with a clean (working) installation of 1.5.2, clearing the database tables and importing my sql dump from my main site (running 1.5, again)and I get the same result before & after running upgrade.php.

    So to summarize: I can successfully run 1.5.2 or 1.5. I can only run 1.5 (or earlier) with my data in the db.

    Have you tried changing the theme ?
    There are sometimes theme issues somewhere in the code which causes blankness.

    That did it!

    It had saved my theme preference in the mysql dump and tried to load a nonexistant custom theme in the new install.
