• Hello.
I just tried to upgrade a site this morning from 3.5.2 to 3.6 and received this message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare has_shortcode() (previously declared in /home/content/k/e/v/kevangale/html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php:153) in /home/content/k/e/v/kevangale/html/wp-content/themes/rsw/framework/functions/framework-functions.php on line 89

    The site is : http://www.stilstudio.com

And chance someone could help me figure out how to fix? I can’t even log into the dashboard anymore. Thanks in advance.

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php
