UpdraftPlus plugin stops

    I managed to get one update sent to my Dropbox. All subsequent backup attempts failed. The progress bar is gone and the last log message is: “Adding batch to zip file (UpdraftPlus_ZipArchive): over 34.7 MB added on this batch (45.3 MB, 13344 files batched, 287 (287) added so far); re-opening (prior size: 28512.4 KB) (Aug 14 12:57:29)”. Please advise.

    I tried again using a different browser, the same problem it goes to sleep and never resumes the update.

    Hi,

    Could you also send us a copy of the latest backup log?
    The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as pastebin, and post the link here.

    Bryle, I didn’t run a backup since the installation test message was to send the debug info (see in first message above) to support. Please review the debug info and advise.

    Hi Israel,

    Apologies for the delay.

    Please could you attempt a fresh backup and send us the log? This should give us the information needed to identify the cause of the issue.

    When the backup stops/aborts there is no log, while it is backing up there is an ongoing log but it’s very long. It is a very large blog and it backs up for hours and finally stops. The backup creates zip files in the wp-content folder but they aren’t sent to the Dropbox probably because the backup is aborted before it is completed. Is there a limit to the size of the site that the plugin can handle?

    Hi,

    If the log file does not display in the ‘Existing Backups’ tab, then it should be available from the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of the site via FTP.

    Alternatively, what is displayed in the ‘latest log message’ in the Current Status tab?
