Updraft Plus deleting Dropbox Files

I’m using Dropbox for remote storage, uploading to folder \Apps\UpdraftPlus. I have another folder off the root called \Shared-Company. on April 14th, 21 files were deleted out of \Shared-Company\Dept1, a folder i don’t use but is shared with coworkers. Dropbox events show that i deleted these files (something i know i didn’t do) and according to Dropbox support “It appears that you have a third-party app connected to your Dropbox account which caused your deletions. The third-party app that caused these deletions is the:Up draft Plus.” There were also 2 files deleted on the 15th, now i’m worried about other files being deleted that i may not know about. How is it possible for updraftplus to be deleting files out of folders i didn’t setup in the app and why would it be deleting files at all?
