Updating to 3.0.5 – cannot create directory error message

    Currently v3.0.4, tried updating to 3.0.5. Disabled all plug ins, clicked ‘Update Automatically’ and get error message:

    Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-3.0.5.zip…

    Unpacking the update…

    Could not create directory.: /home/XXXXX/public_html/wp-content/upgrade/wordpress-3.tmp

    Installation Failed
    — (XXXX is domain)

    How do I update?
