Updating PHP on IIS

    After updating WP, I received a banner message to update PHP. I have searched and I cannot find any documentation on how to update PHP on an IIS install. Can anyone can provide the correct steps and/or a link to achieve this?

    I believe the original WP install was done through MS’s Web Platform.

    Thanks for that. All the returned searches, when I searched, had issues with updating and linked to forums where there really wasn’t tried and true resolution. I happened to click on the very first link from the web results you provided and the update worked, it actually worked through MS’s Web Platform. I was originally hesitant to update directly from that because of the issues I’ve read and the fact that those fairly recent articles stated MS only provided 5.6 and no version of 7. So… I appreciate your help.
